Friday Aug 21, 2020
Friday Aug 21, 2020
In the third episode of our student placement podcast series, Rachel Hayden talks about her project with Wild Work on carbon sequestration and amenity grassland management. Rachel's project looks at the research into how we can manage our garden lawns and public green spaces in a way that captures carbon and promotes biodiversity.
The conversation extends to the difficulties of communicating the science of climate change, and science in general, and the necessity of balancing the urgency of the message with one of hope and practical, positive action.
